If a third is added, they start to become violent and attack one another. Tom Wilkinson’s character, Dr. Matt. Fowler, describes this in a fishing boat off the coast of Maine. wow…we do like a lot of the same movies. this list is awesome and i do forgive you for not liking either of the series (LOTR and HP). i admit it, i love ‘em both. i am a glutton for fantasy type stories. and i know i’m a dork.

but i’m glad to see my favorite movie on there, albeit, only #25. j/k. there are actually some movies on there i have yet to see…like slumdog…i know, i know, i know….its amazing i haven’t seen it especially since i have netflix. i’ll be checking out the others i haven’t seen.

maybe one series you should check out if you haven’t is “Band of Brothers”. its war themed and i didn’t think i’d like it and i did. anyway if i think of anything else…i’ll add it.

What I loved so much about Eternal (which I didn’t see until 2007) was its ability to capture a particular emotional deficiency and the ways in which we rationally, and healthily express our emotions, which to me defined this decade. There was also a great examination of the dissolution of reality and the ways in which we use other things to mask the pain of real life.

And you know how much I love Children of Men. That is my favorite film of the decade, hands down!
